Banana Cream Matcha

Calling all matcha lovers!!

You are going to go bananas (literally) over my latest morning beverage hyper-fixation. Behold… my Banana Cream Matcha recipe.

These unexpected flavors pair together like a dream and the banana adds a creaminess to my morning matcha that I love. Keep reading to learn how to make this tall cup of magic!

What You’ll Need:

1 heaping teaspoon of matcha (my favorite is Dona)

6-8 ounces of water (hot take- I like to make my matcha with cold water)

Half of a ripe banana

2-3 tablespoons of milk of choice

OPTIONAL: Splash of creamer (I love the Chobani Sweet Cream)

  1. Prepare your matcha by sifting 1 heaping teaspoon of matcha powder into matcha bowl

  2. Add water to bowl and whisk for at least 30 seconds with matcha whisk or until powder is fully dissolved and pour over ice.

  3. Combine ripe banana with your milk of choice in blender and blend for a few seconds until frothy

  4. Pour banana cream over iced matcha with a splash of sweet cream and stir well (this banana cream is THICK)

  5. ENJOY!
