Fara Homidi Essential Face Compact Review

Working in the luxury beauty industry, I am constantly hearing about which celeb is releasing their beauty brand next , and truthfully, those announcements do nothing for me. What really gets me going? When I hear that my favorite makeup artists and aestheticians are stepping into the beauty space! Now, that is what excites me!

We’ve worked with Fara for a couple years at Fashion Week through work, so she has been on my radar for a while now. She is the mastermind behind some of the most iconic runway looks and Vogue covers.

Now, I am most familiar with her from the cute baby blue lip liner and compact that I carry in my bag everyday.

Fara recently released her very first complexion product to her line and I was lucky enough to be one of the first to try!

Long story short… I LOVE IT.

I am honestly shocked how much I love it based off of the description. It is described as a “soft matte” which I would have thought would be a major no for me and my dry skin. But it has a slip to it that is very forgiving and flattering for dry skin types.

It isn’t quite a foundation. It isn’t quite a concealer, it is a skin perfector. It truly makes my skin look PERFECT while still looking and feeling like my skin. I target the Smooth Veil on any problem areas, redness or un-evenness. I then follow up with the Shine Baume on the high points of my face or any areas that tend to feel dryer.

If my entire makeup vanity was wiped clean, this is the complexion product I would run to repurchase first. (I love that is is refillable too!!)
