Things That Give Me Serotonin: November Edition

Another month in the books! Is it just me, or does it feel like the last few months of the year FLY BY?!?! My next favorites post will be a roundup of my top favorite finds from the year! So with that being said, I have a question for y’all. Should I do one massive blog post with all of my picks, or should I break it up by sections like Beauty, Skincare, Hair & Body, Lifestyle?? Let me know in the comments of this photo on Instagram or shoot me a message! Anyways, keep reading for my favorite finds from the month of November!

Snif Prenup

Taking a quick break from burning Xmas candles in every square inch of my home to tell y’all about this candle from my friends at Snif. Prenup contains notes of Ink, black amber, vetiver, ebony wood, musk, vanilla, and tonka bean. It is masculine, warm and woodsy, aka everything I look for in a winter scent.

Jenni Kayne Cashmere Cocoon

I have been eyeing this cardigan for literally years, so when I received a gift card, I knew exactly what I was going to treat myself to. The price tag is hefty but it is 100% cashmere and amazing quality. I will have this in my wardrobe forever and I have no regerts (name that movie).

Nature Of Things Superlative Body Balm

The kind team at Nature of Things recently sent me their ENTIRE COLLECTION OF PRODUCTS AND I WAS SHOOK. All of the products are beautiful (stay tuned for a full blog post reviewing the line) but the #1 stand out for me has been this body balm! I rub it on my chest and shoulders every single night and the minty herbal scent sets me up for a chill night. Plus the CBD and anti-inflammatory ingredients soothe my sore shoulders at the end of a long day!

J. Hannah Agnes

J. Hannah is hands down my favorite clean nail polish line. They offer unique yet neutral colors and the brush shape is friendly for even the most spastic manicurist, aka me. I have several of their nail colors and love them all but this month, I have been having a serious love affair with Agnes.

Virtue Hair Oil

I recently ran out of my beloved Crown Affair Hair Oil. Luckily, I had a sample of this Virtue hair oil on hand and ended up loving it! It is actually very similar to the CA hair oil in terms of performance, but the Virtue oil is thinner and has a nice light vanilla-ish scent. If you have oily hair but still want to nourish your ends, you’ll love this oil!

Tata Harper Illuminating Moisturizer

I have been using the Illuminating Eye Cream for a while now and am fully obsessed (she will be making an appearance in my yearly favorites), so I am not surprised by how much I have been enjoying the coordinating moisturizer. My skin gets crazy dry in the colder months, so I like to top off my face oil with this moisturizer in the areas where I get especially dry like my forehead and cheeks. It gives me the same natural glow as the eye cream and boosts my skin with the extra hydration it needs rn!

Good Morning Monster by Catherine Gildiner

This is the first non-fiction book I have ever read for pure enjoyment and it is by far one of the best books I have ever read in my entire life. Dr. Catherine Gildiner shares the heroic stories of five of her most influential patients. All of their stories are heartbreaking, tragic, inspiring, eye-opening, and in the end uplifting. There are some extremely disturbing and triggering components of this book so keep that in mind if you do decide to pick it up, but over all I think it is an important read and I couldn’t recommend it more highly.

Succession

If there is one thing we can all agree on in this god-forsaken world it is that WE MUST PROTECT COUSIN GREG AT ALL COSTS. I started binging Succession this past month and I am almost up to date! It follows the Roys, a Trump-esque media mogul family. The members of their family ruthlessly battle each other for the coveted position of CEO in their media empire. The Roys will make your family look normal…
