Fall Candle Round Up
The very second the temperatures drop below 80 degrees, it is spooky season in my home. The fresh, light candles from summer go into hiding and my spicy, woodsy, gourmand scents make their debut. As previously stated, I take my scents very seriously, and fall/holiday candles ARE MY JAM (stay tuned for a dedicated christmas candle post). Read along for my all time favorite candles that I repurchase year after year!
Illume Autumn Sage
I like that this is a more herbal and fresh fall scent. It has earthy notes of desert sage and fired clay, while the juniper berries still keep it unmistakably fall and cozy.
PF Candle Co Spiced Pumpkin
I had to throw a tried and true pumpkin pie candle in the mix. It has notes of cinnamon toasted nutmeg, creamy butter, brown sugar, and of course, pumpkin. It’s gourmand without smelling artificial.
Public Goods Cedar & Suede
When I first smelled this candle unlit, it had a powdery smell that I wasn’t a huge fan of. But when this is lit it’s sooooooo nice and cozy. It has notes of jasmine, Turkish rose, amber, patchouli, leather and sandalwood. Use code PG-JANEB for money off on your order!
Illume Copper Leaves
You know that smell when you open your door one morning in early October and you say to yourself, “it smells like fall”? This is that smell. It has notes of roasted chestnuts, cinnamon, and coconut. I pick my favorite Illume candles up from my local Whole Foods!
Paddywax Bergamot & Mahogany
I burn this candle year round to achieve ultimate cozy vibes, But in the fall, it just hits different. It contains Bergamot, Bitter Orange, Lemon & Lime Rind, Clary Sage, Star Anise, Eucalyptus, Wild Jasmine, Aged Cedar, Dark Mahogany, White Musk, and Amber.
Mrs. Meyers Acorn Spice
Not me buying literally 5 of these candles at a time…. If your local target is wiped clean of the Acorn Spice collection, you know why. My entire house smells like acorn spice between the months of September and November because I have the candles burning non-stop, wash my dishes with the dish soap, hands with the hand soap, and clean my counters with the spray. I AM OBSESSED WITH THIS SCENT. And did I mention it’s $8???
