Oak Essentials Ritual Oil

So you’re probably looking at this post and thinking “hmmm two facial oil faves, that’s excessive” and you’re not wrong lol. Butttttt I love them both so so much and they’re very different from each other and serve two totally different purposes for me. So the ritual oil has become a critical component to my morning routine. It is super thin but leaves my skin so incredibly glowy. My skin literally drinks these ingredients up (jojoba oil and blue tansy are some of my favorite skincare ingredients) and I have already ordered a back up, I love it that much.

The Feelist Fully Charged Set

I have heard AMAZING things about The Feelist and their line of CBD infused skincare. I can 100% confirm their products live up to the hype. The Most Wanted oil is on the ticker side, it’s ultra hydrating and I love using it at night for my skin to soak up all of the nourishing ingredients while I sleep. The light lavender and ylang-ylang sent is super calming and perfect for using before winding down for the evening. The body lotion is incredible as well. The tin packaging allows you to get every last drop of product and the product itself is hydrating and easy to blend into the skin!

Aesop Karst Perfume

Scents are extremely important to me and I have been in a bit of a fragrance rut recently. The scents I used to love and rely on wearing on a daily basis have kind of turned on me. I was shopping with my mom in DC recently and popped into the Aesop store to replenish my favorite hand wash when I sampled their new collection of perfume and you guys…. I have never smelled something more perfect for me. The new collection is inspired by coastlines and marine life so you’d assume this perfume is beachy and summery but it somehow can work in any season, day or night. It contains notes of juniper, bergamot, pink pepper, rosemary, sage, vetiver, sandalwood and cedar. It’s warm and herbal, yet subtle and skin-like. I LOVE IT.

Bread-PUFF

I love using silk scrunchies for my hair because they look cute while protecting your hair. I have been obsessed with this massive scrunchie from my friends at BREAD. It looks adorable on the wrist while yet is huge and secure enough to hold all your hair in place throughout the day! (I need them to release some other neutral colors!) Use code JANE5 for money off when you shop breadbeautysupply.com.

Tata Harper Illuminating Eye Cream

No matter how much sleep I get (and trust me I sleep like it’s my job) I always have under eye bags. I have my dad’s side to thank for that so THANKS Y’ALL! I have raved about the Shani Darden eye cream for months now because it’s the most effective product I have found for targeting my under eye bags. Unfortunately, I have found it is too rich and hydrating during the day and pills up under SPF and makeup. So I have been on the hunt for a product that is clean, lightweight, brightening, and targets my under eye bags and I FOUND IT. It is infused with diamond dust so it provides a luminous finish to your under eyes without looking makeupy or sparkly. It also creates a instant tightening effect that I love. A little goes a LONGGGG way, I literally think this one bottle will last me a year.

Truth Be Told

I binged this show in less than a day….. I literally couldn’t look away. It streams on Apple TV and tells the story of Poppy, a reporter turned crime podcaster who reported on a murder 20 years prior. Warren Cave was 17 when he was arrested for the murder of his neighbor. Poppy believes that her harsh reporting of Caves behavior and the gruesome murder solidified his place in jail. Fast forward 20 years, Poppy is shown new evidence that could explain Warrens innocence in the crime. She uses her platform as a bona fide podcast host to revisit the crime and uncover what happened that night 20 years ago.
