Happy New Year, everyone!! We have officially made it to 2022 and I think i can speak for everyone when I say things are looking rough…. so if you’re anything like me, you turn to self care and beauty to distract yourself from the real world because it’s scary rn. Keep reading for my top beauty picks from the past year!
Westman Atelier Vital Skin Foundation Stick
Let it be known that this is not a foundation. It is basically a tinted moisturizer in stick form. It has very sheer coverage which I look for in a base product. It simply evens out my skin tone without covering my freckles and imperfections. I use shade III under my eyes as a concealer and the shade IV on other areas. It is very similar to my beloved Merit Minimalist Stick but I find the Westman Atelier stick to be a bit more hydrating!
Merit Flush Balm
I LOVE the Merit blushes. They can be used on the lips and cheeks, the packaging is adorable, and they give a dewy punch of color to the cheeks. I have the shades Terracotta and Mood and I use them both on the reg!
Victoria Beckham Beauty Cheeky Posh
This blush is very similar to the Merit Flush Balms but it is a tiny bit more matte. Definitely not drying at all, but less tacky than the Merit one. I have the shade Playground and it is AMAZING!
Tata Harper Vitamin Infused Blush
Tell me you’re a blush girlie without telling me you’re a blush girlie. I absolutely love this blush shade. I have the color Spicy and it gives the perfect sunburnt flush to the cheeks!
Victoria Beckham Beauty Bronzer
This is advertised as matte but I beg to differ. I find it gives my skin a beautiful and natural sun kissed glow. The powder is super finely milled and very easy to blend into the skin. The brush does pick up a lot of product so be sure to give it a good tap before buffing into the skin. I use the shade 02.
Merit Clean Lash Mascara
2021 brought me long dark lashes thanks to my Hello Skincare Lash Serum. But when I want to darken and accentuate my lashes even further, THIS is the only mascara I reach for. I have gone through like three tubes of this and it is my all time favorite! It is volumizing and adds a touch of length and never looks clumpy or spidery.
Refy Brow Sculpt
I have thick but temperamental brows. I am terrified that if I get a wax, they’ll take them all off sooooo I have never gotten a brow wax. My brow hairs are long af and have a mind of their own. The ONLY brow product that holds them in place is this gel from Refy. I purchased it earlier in the year and used it up but only repurchased again a few weeks ago and I’m kicking myself for not repurchasing sooner!
J. Hannah Nail Polish
I purchased a few of the J. Hannah Nail polishes earlier in the year and I now basically have the entire collection! My favorites are Agnes, Ghost Ranch, Carob, and Akoya!
Westman Atelier Lit Up Stick
This is hands down the best highlighter I have ever used. It isn’t chunky or glittery, it just gives the skin a healthy and luminous glow! I have the shades Nectar and Parla.
Westman Atelier Lip Suede
If my entire makeup collection disappeared, this is probably the product I would RUN to repurchase. They are pricey but I have for sure gotten my money’s worth. I can customize my ideal lip color for the day, and even blot it on my cheeks. You can easily build it up for a high impact punch of color, but I like to blot it on so it is more of a stain.
Victoria Beckham Beauty Lip Tint
I love this lip product so effing much. I like the stain look on my lips and this product delivers just that. I have the shades Amour and Bisou and they’re staples on my makeup vanity.
