#HOMEBODYAPPROVED 2021 FAVORITES: LIFESTYLE EDITION
Last but certainly not least in my yearly favorites are my lifestyle faves. I have everything from kitchen goods to hand soap. Keep reading to check out all the random stuff that brought me joy in 2021!
Beast Blender Set
I received this blender set for Christmas this year but it has quickly become an absolute daily essential. As most of you know, I am a smoothie queen and I make smoothies pretty much daily. This blender looks aesthetically pleasing on my counter and makes the perfect portion for one hefty smoothie. I also LOVE the water bottle. I stuff it with things like pineapple, basil, cucumber, berries, lemon, you name it.
Esker Plantable Candle
Nothing boosts my mood like a good candle and the Esker Plantable Candles are the best of the best. I have both Terrazzo and Terracotta candles and they are both designed to relax the senses. Once you burn thru the wax, repurpose the cute vessels as a planter with the included seeds and soil. It’s genius. I bought a bunch of these candles this past holiday season to give as gifts, and everyone loved them!
Cuyana Hoop Earrings
My style is pretty minimal, but my favorite way to amp up my outfit it by throwing on these chunky hoops from Cuyana. They’re chunky without weighing my ears down and they’re pretty affordable given the amazing quality!
Kindle
This will be a favorite every single year. I received my Kindle as a gift a few years ago and it has been a game changer for me. I resisted picking one up forever because I thought I needed a physical book in my hands to enjoy my reading experience but I was wrong. It is way more comfortable to hold, I can read into the wee hours of the night, and it’s super compact.
Caraway Cookware Set
Cooking is one of my biggest passions (I am going to be creating a lot more cooking content in the new year!) so this past year I picked up a new cookware set while it was on MEGA sale. These are incredible. They are completely non-toxic and they cook everything to absolute perfection. They are pretty high maintenance but if I care for them properly, I will have them forever.
Brightland Ardor Oil
Like I mentioned, cooking is a huge passion of mine so using elevated ingredients just ups the experience for me. This chili oil is pricey but AMAZING. I drizzle it on avocado toast or pizza and it is a great addition to dipping sauces. I am going to pick up more of their infused oils ASAP!
Esker Calendula Hand Soap
Hands deserve a little TLC too! I love this hand soap because it is MASSIVE, smells amazing and looks great on my counter while also keeping my hands clean and moisturized. The Calendula Hand Cleanser is formulated with clove, palo santo, litsea and helichrysum essential oils, which all happen to be naturally anti-bacterial, anti-microbial, anti-inflammatory and detoxifying.
New Balance Bandier Sneaker
When I do inevitably leave my house, I am always reaching for a pair of comfy sneakers. I LOVE these ones from New Balance in collaboration with Bandier. They’re neutral and chic and I can easily dress them up or down. They’re also insanely comfortable. They’re sold out now, but click the button below if you want to be notified for when they restock!
Good Morning Monster
This is hands down the best book I read in 2021. It is written by Dr. Catherine Gildiner and she recounts five of her most influential patients stories of heroism and perseverance. It was extremely disturbing and triggering at times (keep that in mind if you want to check it out) but over all I am so glad I read it and I think about it daily.
Lunya Washable Silk Robe
Fun fact about me is that I am sweating my balls off 100% of my life. So hopping out of the shower and into a lush n’ plush robe is simply not in the cards for me. I love this robe from Lunya because it is super lightweight and breathable. It’s great for throwing on while getting ready and best part is that even though it is silk, I can simply toss it in the washer.
Moon Juice Collagen Protect
I love throwing some collagen powder into my smoothies because it is an easy way to get those skin loving nutrients into my daily routine. This one from Moon Juice is great because it is vegan and has no overpowering taste. Honorable mention for the Golde Collagen Boost, that one is great too!
Snif Candles
I am a HUGE fan of Snif and this past year they released their candle line and THEY’RE INCREDIBLE. The throw on these puppies is unmatched. They’re strong without being overpowering and the scent combinations are beautiful. My favorites are Prenup, Instant Karma and Old Saint Wick!
