It’s Okay To Be Sensitive: Act & Acre Edition
From the moment that a MASSIVE box from Act & Acre arrived at my door step, it was love at first sight, well sniff. The box smelled INCREDIBLE. I still have not thrown the box out because I need to keep smelling the sweet and herbal scent. I already ordered their Rebalancing Scent (aka the scent they spray on their packages) because I need to smell like it ASAP.
I don’t think I have ever received a line from a brand where every single product was #homebodyapproved, but Act & Acre DID THAT. My scalp has never felt happier and more harmonious. Cold Pressed Scalp Detox
This pre shower oil paired with the jade scalp gua sha is my ideal self-care Sunday duo. I apply it to my scalp once a week and work it in by massaging and stimulating the hair follicles with the gua sha. It gently breaks down sebum, removes buildup and restores balance to the scalp. It washes out super easily with their shampoo!
Hair Cleanse & Hair Conditioner
Not all shampoo and conditioners are created equally. Some are sensitive on the scalp but leave the hair feeling lifeless. This duo cleanses, hydrates, and exfoliates. It leaves my hair feeling squeaky clean without stripping my scalp of all its moisture. Bonus point for it smelling like a spa.
Restorative Hair Mask
When my hair is in need of extra love and hydration, this mask has been great! I can use it in the shower in place of my conditioner or as a pre-wash treatment.
Stem Cell Serum
The entire line is #homebodyapproved but if I had to choose my top favorite it would 100% be this serum. With my hair still damp from the shower, I apply it to my cleansed scalp. I was scared that it would make my hair look greasy but it actually preserves the longevity of my cleansed hair and my hair has not been getting greasy as quickly. I have also noticed that my hair looks and feels thicker and is shedding less in the shower.
