Keys Soulcare Review
Every day I wake up and look in the mirror wishing I had Alicia Keys’s face. So when I heard that she released a clean skincare line, I jumped on it knowing that would be the closest I’d get in this or any lifetime to achieving that Alicia Keys Glow. I love the concept behind her line. That self care isn’t indulgent and vain, but instead a way to show up for yourself, love yourself, and honor your self. It’s meditative. Each of her products include a mantra on the packaging for you to reflect on while using the product. To see my thoughts on the few products I tried from the line, keep reading!
Reviving Aura Mist
I LOVE a face mist. I use them daily as a skin refresh or when my face is needing a boost of instant hydration. I was super excited to try this out but wasn’t blown away by it. The mist is super fine which I like and the scent is soothing but I didn’t notice any skincare benefits. It didn’t irritate my sensitive skin but it also didn’t do anything to enhance it. As an aromatherapy mist, its great. If you’re looking for a skincare mist, I wouldn’t recommend this.
Comforting Balm
I ordered this in the hopes I’d have a new bedside lip mask but unfortunately, this didn’t work for me. I have mentioned before that more often than not, lip products react badly with my sensitive skin and sadly, that was the case with this balm. However, I passed it along to my mom who doesn’t deal with this issue and she loves it!!
Sage + Oat Milk Candle
WOW WOW WOW. Words can’t describe how much I love this candle. The scent is unlike anything I’ve ever smelled. It’s relaxing and warm and clean. I love lighting it during my meditations and at night when it’s time to unwind with some sleepy tea and a book. I will 100% be buying 80 more of this candle.
