Another month, another favorites post! We’ve got tv, makeup, skincare, accessories, and even a gadget. Read along for all the things that sparked joy throughout the month. Honorable mention to my #1 favorite this month, MY FIRST DOSE OF THE COVID VACCINE!!!!!!
Olive Berkinstocks
Birks are probably my most worn shoes. During the spring and summer they’re practically all I wear (even in the winter I wear them with socks because I’m what some would consider to be a fashion icon). So I tend to wear my birks into the ground. I needed to replenish my classic Arizona’s this month so I picked up these olive colored ones. I love that they’re a subtle pop of color while still coming across as neutral.
Henne Organics Tinted Lip Balm in Coral
I am a lip balm fanatic. And as I have mentioned before, it can be a struggle for me to find lip products that don’t irritate my lips. This is my second product I have tried from Henne and both have been great for me! I’ve been finding myself reaching for this tinted lip balm almost daily. I love the subtle wash of color and it’s super moisturizing and juicy!
Mejuri Bold Chain Necklace
With the world starting to open back up, I have been forced to leave my home and see my close friends and family for social gatherings (luv y’all). To jazz up my comfy casual outfits, I’ve been adding this necklace and it takes my look from sweats to sweats with some bling.
Moon Juice Acid Potion
I have been wanting to add some kind of chemical exfoliant to my routine and after lots of research, I decided to give the Moon Juice Acid Potion a try. I am loving it. I love that you apply it like an essence so there is no need for cotton balls or waste. The product itself leaves my skin feeling soft and plump and it hasn’t irritated my sensitive skin even a little bit. I use it every other night and it has been great for me. The only downside is it smells like mushrooms…. but at least it doesn’t have any added fragrance so I’ll live.
Megababe Soapy Pits
I picked this up from target earlier in the month and I am loving it!! It smells like clean laundry, it doesn’t irritate my underarms and I can go a full day without needing to reapply (which is great for a natural deodorant).
Cuyana Tote
I got this bag as a Christmas gift this past year and everytime I use it I think about what a perfect bag it is, so I thought it was about time I shared. It’s big enough for a crazy bag lady like me who carries around an entire pharmacy, yet small enough where it isn’t a bottomless pit. I am a HUGE fan of Cuyana. They create their bags ethically and with intention and are one of the few companies I know of who are completely transparent about their waste.
Nespresso Frother
Starbucks is canceled. I REPEAT STARBUCKS IS CANCELED!!!!! I am a barista now. This frother is life changing. It can froth your creamer hot or cold so I use it for my iced lattes, hot coffees, and sleepy time teas. It’s everything to me.
Mare of Easttown
If you’re looking for a new binge worthy show, look no further. Mare of Easttown stars Kate Winslet as a small town detective with a tramatic past. When a local teenage turns up dead, she is in charge of getting to the bottom of it, all while trying to keep her own life from falling apart. It’s so good so far. I watch it on HBOMAX!
