Things That Give Me Serotonin: March Edition
Back at it again with my monthly favorites! We’ve got beauty, skincare, fashion (well what I consider fashun), movies and even food! All pretty random but all of course, #homebodyapproved!!
I am pretty sure I have praised Biba in every one of my blogs at this point. This woman could tell me to wipe dog dooty on my face and I’d be like, “cool, noted, on it”. I use masks pretty regularly but I use this particular mask about twice a week. It is detoxifying and cleansing without feeling harsh. It has a nice cooling effect rather than a burning one that other active masks can create. It leaves my skin feeling refreshed and clean!
Rosamund Pike loves playing a crazy bitch and she does it well. This movie is about a corrupt legal guardian who drains the money from her wards for her own financial benefit. She thinks she has landed her dream client but ends up getting tangled with the Russian mafia. It’s super dark yet funny and there are literally no “good guys” in this situation. I loved it and can’t stop thinking about it.
I naturally have pretty full eyebrows. Thankfully I watched Blue Lagoon at a young age and was always striving for the Brooke Shields brows while my peers were plucking theirs away. So I don’t feel the need to really fill my brows in, but I do appreciate a gel to add a little color and hold. I love the tiny wand plus the end result isn’t crispy like some other brow products I have tried. I have it in the shade deep brown.
I wish I had this bra when I made my Bras For People Who Hate Bras blog post. It’s amazing. I have been eyeing it for a while but it’s pretty pricey. Luckily for me I found it on sale for TWENTY DOLLARS in my size in this super cute floral pattern and now I need every color ever. It is supportive, soft, comfortable, doesn’t dig into the shoulders, and is easy to get on and off. IT’S PERFECTION!!!!! If it is still on sale GET YOU ONE.
Even when I style my hair, I am always throwing my hair up in a claw clip or scrunchie. I love this one from Lunya because it’s gentle on my hair and has a really cool design concept. You pull the hair tie over your bunched hair, and pull the two elastic tabs on the side to secure it.
I CANT STOP WEARING THIS!!! Also it is 50% off at Urban as I am writing this so if it still is SNAG IT WHILE ITS HOT. It is the perfect slouchy but not too oversized fit, it washes like a dream, and it’s lightweight enough for the warmer months.
The name says it all. This sauce is BITCHIN. It is made of only ingredients you can pronounce, like almonds, coconut sugar, nutritional yeast, lemon juice, vanilla and sea salt. Idk how they do it, but they make those ingredients taste like caramel. I love to dip apple slices in it as a sweet treat!
