Victoria Beckham Beauty: Whats #HomebodyApproved?
YOO, I’LL TELL YOU WHAT I WANT, WHAT I REALLY REALLY WANT… and that is all things Victoria Beckham Beauty. I have been eyeing Victoria Beckham’s line of clean luxury beauty for YEARS but never treated myself. But since starting the blog, I have purchased a few of her products FOR SCIENTIFIC PURPOSES (jk it’s an excuse to finally see what all the hype is about and SPOILER ALERT, it lives up to the hype). Her products are targeted to beauty lovers who care about thoughtful ingredients, sustainability, and quality. A number of her products are refillable and they’re never tested on animals. So, ya’ll really really want to hear my thoughts on what I’ve tried so far? Keep reading!
Bitten Lip Tint
This is the first product I tried from VBB and my #1 favorite from them. It is also for sure the most used lip product I own. I gave it a try at the very beginning of the pandemic when we were all learning to adjust to life with a mask all up on our mouths. This is great for mask/non-mask life because it dries down to a stain while simultaneously hydrating the lips. I didn’t think I could love anything more than Bisou, a nude-ish berry shade, that is until they released Amour, a peachy nude. They’re truly perfection, from the formula to the shades. They’re incredible and I’d recommend them to anyone who will listen to me.
Lip Definer
This is only the second lip liner I have ever tried so keep that in mind, but between the two I have given a whirl, this is my top pick. I have it in shade 2 and its a perfect match to compliment my natural lip color. She offers lots of shades so anyone will be sure to find a perfect match. The formula is very matte but creamy. I am not sure I would repurchase simply because I think I have decided that I am too lazy for lip liner…. but if you’re a lip liner person, I’d definitely say give this is go!
Future Lash Mascara
I LOVE this mascara. I have very short unimpressive lashes (I recently started using a lash serum so once it starts showing results it’s over for you hoes) but this mascara makes the most of what I have! It is dark af, easy to remove and doesn’t smudge on me at all. The price is on the affordable side for a luxury brand at $28 and it’s filled with lash nourishing ingredients. I will 100% be repurchasing and have already bought one for my mom who is a psycho about mascara. If she likes it, you know it’s good. (I’ll keep y’all posted on her review.)
Satin Kajal Liner
I think the #1 thing that sets VBB aside from other brands is their impeccable formulas. They’re always so creamy, blend-able and impactful, and this eye liner is no exception. Like I mentioned, my lashes kinda blow (FOR NOW, BUT I HAVE FAITH IN THIS LASH SERUM) so to thicken up their appearance I do that upper lash line eyeliner trick. Other eyeliners have dragged and irritated my eyes when applying but not this one. It glides under my lashes like a dream and doesn’t transfer or smudge. I have the shade Cocoa!
Matte Bronzing Brick
Don’t let the “matte” fool you, this stuff will leave you feeling like a sun-kissed goddess! I have never found a powder bronzer I have liked until I tried this. I found that other powder bronzers enhanced the dryness especially on my forehead. But this one creates a perfect warm complexion without any “powdery” look. They offer several shade options so that everyone can give it a go! I have the shade 2!
VBB is quickly becoming one of my favorite clean beauty brands. They’re reliable, inclusive, high quality, and intentional. I’m super excited to see what else they release. Perhaps a tinted moisturizer?? HINT HINT!!!
LYTBAP,
