It’s summertime baby!!! While I pretty much loathe the warmer months, I do thrive chilling by any body of water whether it be a pool or an ocean. I am kind of world-renowned for being the ultimate bag lady but I like to think I come prepared, and my beach bag is no exception. Read along for the goods I always hit the beach with!

I love a good beach hat. When in the sun, I like to cover my face as much as possible so a wide brimmed straw hat is a must! I love the Lack of Color hats because they offer sizing options for massive heads like mine.

Whenever I am on the hunt for a new bag, whether it be a small clutch or a large weekender, Cuyana is my one-stop shop. They have the BEST bags. They’re impeccably made, thoughtfully designed, mindful of waste, and fairly priced. This is the perfect beach bag. It is spacious enough for a crazy bag lady, easy to clean, and most importantly, chic af.
Summer Fridays Body Oil
Is this an essential, no. But if you’re wanting your skin to look and feel extra glowy and hydrated while chilling beach/poolside, this is perfect! It smells like a coconut cake and leaves your skin BEAMING.
Saie Sunvisor
This is hands down my favorite facial sunscreen. It doesn’t break me out or irritate my sensitive skin and it layers well for the days when I do wear makeup. Other sunscreens I have used pill and clump up especially when reapplying every few hours in the sun, but I never have that issue with this!
Supergoop Play Antioxidant Sunscreen
I am a huge fan of Supergoop, especially their body sunscreens. This non-aerosol mist is easy to apply, reef safe and I never burn!
Raen West Sunglasses
I have relatively light-colored eyes that are SUPER sensitive to light, and if I am out in the sun too long, my eyes literally get sun burnt. Last year I made the switch to Polarized sunglasses and I will never buy a regular pair again. I love these sunnies from Raen because they’re timeless, durable, and flattering on everyone!
The Kindle
My Kindle has quickly become one of my prized possessions. I am obsessed with this thing. And during the summer, it really is an essential in my beach/pool bag! I would try to read a regular book out in the sun and get nowhere fast because the pages would be too bright for me. But the kindle is 100% glare proof and adjusts automatically for the perfect brightness when outside.
Crown Affair Comb
Random yet totally essential. Anyone else’s hair a complete rat’s nest after getting out of any body of water? Having a comb stashed away in my beach bag is a must. And trust me, someone will be asking around for a comb and you’ll be that good friend to save the day.
