Long time no blog! My bad… I have had a very busy Summer but fear not, I am back with a round up of my favorite products from the month of July!

The Maidens by Alex Michaelides

If you know me personally, you’d know that I do not shut up about The Silent Patient. It is one of my all time favorite books. So when Michaelides released his second novel, I downloaded it to my Kindle right away. It tells the story of a group therapist who is called back to her college town when her niece’s best friend is found dead. She originally rushes to her niece’s side as a shoulder to cry on, but quickly becomes invested in the crime and zeros in on a popular professor as the lead suspect. If you’re going to read this, I’d recommend that you read The Silent Patient first. Without giving too much away….. they’re related…..

Westman Atelier Baby Cheeks Blush in Poppet

A few months ago, I was kindly sent the Baby Cheeks Blush in Minette by the Westman Atelier team. I loved the formula and packaging so much, that I decided to snag another shade during the recent Sephora sale. This color is scary in the tube and when swatched, but with a light hand, this adds the prettiest pinky flush to the cheeks.

Hello Skincare Lash Therapy

You guys….. I have like really nice lashes now….. No joke, I actually get compliments on my lashes now which NEVER happened before. I have been on the hunt for a lash serum with clean ingredients that didn’t irritate my sensitive eyelids for months now and I have finally found it!!! It took about 3 weeks to see a noticeable difference but now they’re longer, thicker and darker. I will post my before and after pictures to my Instagram!

Sephora Facial Razor

Not the most aesthetically pleasing product I’ve ever pushed down your throats but whatever. I use this on the reg and it’s the best facial razor I have found! It comes with blade refills and is perfect for any unwanted peach fuzz you have on your face. If you’re a bearded lady like myself, try this out, lol.

Metaskin Cupping Set

I love a good facial tool. One of the highlights of my day is when I get the chance to give myself an at-home facial massage. Facial cupping instantly de-puffs the face by eliminating excess fluid. It instantly boosts blood circulation and relieves muscle tension. I see instant results along my jawline and around my cheekbones, and my skin is noticeably more lifted, glowy, and radiant.

Dyson Long Barrel Attachments

I received the Dyson Airwrap as a gift a few months ago and I can 100% confirm it lives up to the hype. It takes practice to get used to, but once you understand how the airflow works, it’s pretty life changing. The price tag is terrifying, but it replaces my curling wand, straightener and blowdryer. Plus the airflow technology eliminates harmful heat damage to the hair. I recently purchased the long attachments and they’re way more user friendly than the attachments that come in the kit. If you have the Airwrap, and are struggling, try out the longer options!

White Lotus

I started watching The White Lotus on HBOMAX this month and have been loving it. It follows the toxic lives of the guests and staff at a high-end resort in Hawaii. It’s cringey (but in a good way), dark, funny, sad and dramatic. Unlike other shows that depict the standard ensemble of tried-and-true characters (Over-indulged College Girl, Moody Friend of College Girl, Quirky Misunderstood Little Brother, Long-Suffering White Dad), this group is constantly shape-shifting from Victim to Disruptor, to Evil-doer and back again. Can’t wait to see the end!
