What’s In My Bag?

I am a crazy bag lady through and through. Have a headache?? I’ve got peppermint oil. Feeling a little hot and bothered?? I’ve got a chargeable portable fan. To be the reliable friend with everything ever in her bag, requires a massive tote. Recently however, I’ve been feeling a need to be more hands free. So when I’m in need of a new bag, Cuyana is my go-to. Ever since I was a little girl, when my mom and I picked up a new bag we’d promptly bring it home and “play purses”. Playing purses is essentially the maiden voyage for our new bags where we discover the nooks and crannies and figure out which interior pocket is best for lip balm and where the ideal spot to slide your phone is. For today’s blog, I thought we’d all play purses together with my new Cuyana bag and I can share my pared down must-haves for my fellow crazy bag ladies!

Cuyana Double Loop Bag

Please trust me, if you’re in need of a new bag, go to Cuyana. They’re so well made, well thought out and the designs are minimal yet unique. This bag is on the small side (for me) but it fits a surprising amount! There are two side pockets (which are great for sliding your phone or card holder), a large pocket in the main compartment, and a hidden pocket on the back. There is a place and space for all of my essentials.

Cuyana Mini Travel Case

I received the Travel Case Set a few years ago as a gift and the mini case was included in the set, but you can also purchase the pouches separately. This is where I stash all of my lip balms, lotions, and potions (MadTV fans will understand that reference). It’s compact yet spacious and keeps my bag from getting junked up.

Noshinku Hand Sanitizer

Obviously some hand sanni is a necessity to have when out and about during these unprecedented times. I love this one because it is super slim and discrete in my bag. It has a soothing smell and also contains some skin nourishing ingredients so it doesn’t tear my hands up like other disinfectants.

Raen West Sunglasses

Ever gotten a sunburn on your eyes? I have, and it’s pretty miserable. Ever since that scarring experience, I ONLY wear polarized sunglasses. I have had these sunnies for years, they have a classic yet modern look and they go with literally everything.

Tower 28 SOS Facial Spray

I have talked about this spray literally a million times. I bring this everywhere I go. Especially with all the mask wearing, this has been a savior for my chin area. I spray my face whenever I take my mask off and it is an instant refresh for my skin.

Crown Affair Scrunchie

I kinda hate having my hair in my face. No matter how much time I spend sprucing myself up, my hair will 100% end up in a colonial man pony tail. I always stash an extra silk scrunchie in my bag just to be safe!

Cadence Capsules

So I wash down almost every single meal with Gaviscon tablets (that’s chronic acid reflux for ya). I used to stash them in a ziplock but they’d end up getting crushed and turning to powder. So these capsules have been a game-changer for me. I stash my Gaviscon, elderberry tablets, zinc tablets, and basically anything I can smash into them. They’re perfect for travel as well!!

Rothy’s Mask

I think I have decided that the Rothy’s masks are my favorite. The structured shape leaves space between your mouth and the actual mask, and it looks chic and cool (for a freakin mask).

Saje Pocket Farmacy

I try my best to steer clear of medicine as much as possible (minus Gaviscon—I JUST CANT QUIT YOUUUUU) but for things like head aches, tension, and minor pains I rely heavily on essential oils. This little kit contains everything I need for almost any ailment.

Henne Lip Serum

This lip serum has quickly become a holy grail product for me. It has a really nice thin texture which is great for mask wearing, yet is supppppper nourishing and hydrating.
