Zesty Green Skin-Loving Smoothie

I’ve gotten some requests for “lazy girl recipes” and it doesn’t get much lazier than a smoothie! It’s basically a whole meal pureed so you don’t have to put the energy into chewing….. aka very lazy friendly. You know that chain company called Smoothie King? Well, not trying to brag or anything but my family calls me “Smoothie Queen” because that’s how often I whip up a tasty smoothie recipe. And I actually have quite a few go-to recipes that I will share with you guys, but to start, here is one of my FAVORITES. It’s a classic green smoothie with a zesty/spicy twist. It’s packed with skin-loving nutrients that will leave you glowing from the inside out because you are what you eat!

What You’ll Need:

One 8Greens Skin tablet mixed with a cup of water (you can skip this and just use almond milk or coconut water but I love all the goodness jammed into one small tablet. You can find them here!)

Banana

Spinach or kale

Orange (I have blood orange here)

Frozen mango or pineapple

1/4 of a cucumber

One chunk of fresh ginger (I use a pretty hefty chunk and it adds the best zesty flavor)

Ice to your liking (I like my smoothies thick and cold so I add LOTS of ice)
